A new concept in community care

Could you be a Professional Neighbour?

It's hard to avoid news stories about staff shortage across both NHS and social care. The whole sector is struggling to find people and job vacancy numbers continue to rise. As a result, many older people in our community find it difficult to get the care and support they need.

So, we had a thought... 

We all know that our community if full of naturally caring, helpful people keen to "do their bit" to support those to need a helping hand.

They may not be looking for a career in care. They may not even be looking for a job. But they are exactly the sort of people who, with the right support, could make a huge difference to the lives of our older community.

We want to find these wonderful people and offer them the opportunity to work as "Professional Neighbours" alongside our full-time care team.

In return to some regular hours each week, we will provide full training, administrative support and the security of knowing you'll never be without someone on hand for support or advice.
